Terms

USING LABPRESS

Terms of Use

These terms govern access to LabPress editorial content, community features, reviews, marketplace directories, forms, and related services.

Effective and last updated September 3, 2026

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing LabPress or creating an account, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Review Policy, and any additional terms displayed for a specific service. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use LabPress for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for it.

2. Accounts and communications

You must provide accurate information, protect account credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account. LabPress may send operational messages necessary to administer membership. Newsletter and partner-marketing choices are separate from acceptance of these Terms and can be changed as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Community and user content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant LabPress a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and adapt that content as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, promote, archive, and improve LabPress. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the material.

You may not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, confidential, privacy-invasive, malicious, discriminatory, or dangerous content; scrape or harvest personal information; manipulate reviews or rankings; impersonate others; bypass access controls; introduce malware; or use LabPress for undisclosed solicitation. Community participation is also governed by the Community Guidelines.

4. Editorial, scientific, and professional information

LabPress provides news, analysis, educational material, user commentary, and marketplace information. Content does not constitute legal, regulatory, medical, financial, safety, or laboratory-validation advice and does not replace qualified professional judgment, approved methods, manufacturer instructions, institutional procedures, or applicable standards. You are responsible for verifying information before relying on it.

5. Marketplace, vendors, and sponsored material

Vendor verification means that LabPress has completed the verification steps described on the site. It is not a warranty, certification, endorsement, or guarantee. Vendor and product information may come from vendors, public sources, members, and editorial research. Sponsored content, advertising, affiliate relationships, and paid placements will be labeled. Commercial relationships do not purchase editorial ratings or favorable member-review outcomes.

6. Reviews and ratings

Reviews must follow the Review Policy. LabPress may authenticate reviewers, moderate submissions, disclose incentives, reject conflicts of interest, remove manipulation, and distinguish member ratings from editorial scores. Vendors may respond but may not condition benefits on positive sentiment or retaliate against a reviewer for an honest opinion.

7. Intellectual property

Except for user content and third-party material, LabPress and its licensors own the service, branding, design, software, compilations, and original content. You may link to public pages and make reasonable personal or internal business use of content. Republishing, systematic extraction, resale, model training, or creation of a competing database requires written permission unless law provides otherwise.

8. Third-party services

LabPress may link to or integrate third-party websites, tools, events, products, and services. Their terms and privacy practices govern your use of them. LabPress is not responsible for third-party availability, security, accuracy, or conduct.

9. Enforcement and termination

LabPress may investigate violations and reject, remove, label, restrict, suspend, or terminate content or accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, editorial integrity, security, or legal compliance. We may preserve records as required by law or legitimate operational needs. You may stop using LabPress at any time and may request account deletion subject to lawful retention.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LabPress is provided “as is” and “as available.” LabPress and LabLynx disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LabPress and LabLynx will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or reliance on content. Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of amounts you paid to LabPress during the preceding 12 months or $100.

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify LabPress, LabLynx, and their personnel from claims and reasonable costs arising from your content, misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.

12. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local law applies. Courts with jurisdiction in Georgia will hear disputes not otherwise resolved by the parties. We may update these Terms prospectively by posting a revised date and, for material changes, providing appropriate notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

13. Contact
